Obituary: Virgina E. Mathewson, 91

Virginia E. Mathewson (Bacon), 91, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015, joining her beloved husband in the afterlife, the late Thurston Milton Mathewson, of 70 years. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Her powerful spirit will be forever remembered along with her devilish wit, her marvelous cooking, and her spectacular sewing and knitting skills.

She is survived by her children Sally Neal, Gayle LaPlante, Lori Marden, Teri Wolff, and Stephanie Mazzone; as well as 18 grandchildren, and a village of great grandchildren.

Her funeral service and burial are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations to Perspectives Social Services Organization, 1130 Ten Rod Rd., #B101, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
