Wayne E. Rogers, 72, died June 6, 2015.

Wayne E. Rogers, 72, died June 6, 2015. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Samuel G. Rogers and Florence E. (Carron) Rogers.
Mr. Rogers worked as a Quahogger and Bartender at the Oak Hill Tavern for many years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He leaves his son, Marvin W. Rogers and his wife Nancy of West Warwick. Cherished grandfather of Jessica, David, Hope, and Sarah Rogers all of West Warwick and great-grandfather of Tristin O’Shaughnessey and Zoey Homes

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery will be private.
