Police Searching for Man Who Robbed NK Bank

The suspect did not show a weapon during the robbery and fled in a dark colored Jeep Cherokee.

A six-foot tall white man wearing a hood disguise robbed the Webster Bank on Ten Rod Road in North Kingstown Monday afternoon and the North Kingstown Police Department is asking for the public to help them identify the suspect.

Police said the man walked into the bank at 1041 Ten Rod Road at around 3:30 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. He did not display a weapon and fled with an undetermined amount of cash in an older model dark colored Jeep Cherokee.

Police said the suspect was wearing a tan shirt, tan pants, sunglasses and a tan hood covering his face.

Police released surveillance images that captured the suspect as he walked into the bank carrying a white bag.
