The Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library are hosting a special Art Exhibit during November for Reed McLaren, 2014 Winter's Eve Winner!

East Greenwich, RI: The Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library are hosting a special Art Exhibit during November for Reed McLaren, recipient of the 2014 Winter’s Eve Exhibit, Juror’s First Place and Solo Exhibition award. Reed will present "Lost in Reverie" November 3rd-26th 2015 at the Howard Silverman Gallery located in the East Greenwich Free Library. Inspired by archival film footage, Reed will present atmospheric drawings and bold paintings of women in playful scenes. In her newest series, sourced from highboard diving footage, acrobatic figures suspended in space explore movement, light, and dimension using highly saturated colors and striking copper, silver, and gold metal leaf. To learn more about Reed and her art, please visit her web site at www.ReedMcLaren.com. On November 5th from 6:00-8:00pm, a reception will be held to celebrate Reed's show and accomplishments. During the reception, live music, featuring the chromatic harmonica, will be shared by Chuck Rejto, along with refreshments.
