Rhode Island Man Wins $1 Million Jackpot On Lottery Ticket
Prizes of $30,000 and $10,000 were also claimed after being sold in Coventry and Johnston, Rhode Island Lottery officials said.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Rhode Island has a new millionaire.
An Exeter man cashed in a winning $1 million "The Next Rhode Island Millionaire" lottery ticket, he bought at the Stop & Shop on Ten Road in North Kingstown, Rhode Island Lottery officials said Monday. The man told lottery officials he might buy a new truck with his winnings.
Two other Rhode Islanders also won big payouts on lottery tickets. A Providence woman cashed in a winning $30,000 "Wild Cash" ticket she bought at the Stop & Shop on Commerce Way in Johnston.

A Providence man also won $10,000 after buying a "$500,000 Payout" ticket at "Murphy's Mobil on Flat River Road in Coventry.
