Call for Art and Show Dates
The Wickford Art Association (WAA) is presenting “Rock - Paper - Paint”. The open juried show runs from March 10 to April 2, 2017. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.

The Call for Art is on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 11 AM to 7 PM and Thursday, March 9,
2017 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Artists may refer to our website for submission guidelines and entry
fees. Show registration is open to artists in all fine art mediums except photography.

The juror is Teresa Mowery, owner of Patina Studio, a fine art metal smithing gallery in Tiverton, RI. A graduate of Maine College of Art, Teresa’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States and published in numerous books.

The “Rock - Paper - Paint” reception is on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 36
Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI, with awards with cash prizes presented at 7:00 PM.
The Wickford Art Association is a non-profit organization with over 450 members from Rhode
Island and New England. The association hosts art shows and classes in its gallery at 36 Beach
Street in North Kingstown, and has produced the Wickford Art Festival every July since 1962.
Wickford Art Association is dedicated to educating, encouraging and inspiring artists and art
lovers throughout the community.

Wickford Art Association hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 - 3:00 PM and
