Solar Energy Workshop Scheduled
The workshop is for North Kingstown businesses and residents.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—Homeowners and business are eligible for incentives, if they install solar energy at their property, according to State Rep. Julie A. Casimiro (D-Dist. 31, North Kingstown, Exeter). She will be holding a workshop for North Kingstown homeowners, businesses and landowners on Monday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Court Room at North Kingstown Town Hall, 100 Fairway Drive.
“This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for the residents and business owners of North Kingstown to learn about the many different programs and incentives to utilize solar energy in the town," she said. "Whether from a fiscal or an environmental standpoint, solar energy provides many opportunities to transform our energy infrastructure and I encourage everyone in the town to attend and learn which programs might work for them or their businesses."
Staff from the Office of Energy Resources will be at the workshop to answer questions. The incentives are coming from both the state and federal government.
