South County Chamber Singers in Palm Sunday Concert
Annual concert at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Wakefield. Four wonderful soloists, plus organ, violin and harp.

South County Chamber Singers, under the baton of Artistic Director Dr. Enrico Garzilli, present their annual PALM SUNDAY CONCERT. This year the major work is Fauré’s beautiful Requiem, Op. 48, from which the Pie Jesu was sung at Nancy Reagan's funeral. Rounding out the program will be Mozart’s Lacrymosa, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Schubert’s Ave Maria, Dubois’s Adoremus Te Christe, Jenkins’s God Shall Wipe Away All Tears and a piece composed especially for Palm Sunday by Garzilli entitled Creator Spirit .
Joining the group are Sharon Key, soprano; Paula Redd Rollins, mezzo-soprano; Georgette Ross Hutchins, alto and Michael DiMucci, baritone. Providing instrumental support are Philip Martorella on organ, Christina Brownell on violin and Teresa Tafuri on harp.
