Sudden Situations - True Stories from on the Water

Wickford Yacht Club invites members and guests to a program featuring several members of the Club.

This will be a discussion group centering around seven members of the Club in which they will tell us the real stories of frightening situations that occurred to them one fine day on the water. Sometimes it began as a simple day sail or a motor trip around Beavertail to Newport for lunch. It’s what happened next where the story is created and the lessons are learned. In each case we will review what happened, why it happened and how it could have been prevented. The presentation will begin at 7:30pm, following a meet-and-greet social period starting at 7pm. The program will be at WYC and is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.
