Tim Charron Plays NK Town Beach

Tim Charron, in support of his "Chasing the Sun" tour, played to a lively crowd at the North Kingstown Town Beach.

Tim Charron, country music star and local RI’er, played to a packed lawn at the North Kingstown Town Beach. The event was created and sponsored by the North Kingstown Arts Council and Centreville Bank. Additional sponsors included the I.C.E. Agency, who also served as the promoters of the event as well as Quonset Auto Body, McKay’s Furniture, Genesis Investigations, and Prudential Gammons Realty. Tim and his amazing band played both original songs and crowd favorites from such country artists as Uncle Cracker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Kenny Chesney. Tim thanked the crowd, which included his family and friends, and even got the crowd to wish his mother a “Happy Birthday.” The North Kingstown Bandshell was the setting for this event and the acoustics were incredible. A good time was had by all.

It was great to run into so many great North Kingstown friends included Kerry and Molly McKay, Coach Lisa McKay, Dr. Phil and Chris Auger, and to meet Pop’s from Pop’s Hot Hot Hotdog stand. Special thanks to Lacey McGreevey and Laurie Pichette for helping out at the ICE Agency vendor’s table as well as the Inside Scoop. And a big thanks to Tim Charron. You can check out where Tim is playing both locally and nationally at www.timcharron.com.
