Tuesday Wickford Summer Concert Moved to Town Beach

If you’re planning on catching some Beatles tunes with tonight’s planned performance by Abbey Road in Wickford, take note: there has been a change in venue.

The concert, part of the Wickford Summer Concert Series, has been moved to the North Kingstown Town Beach after some emergency construction at the Town Dock.

The North Kingstown Arts Council apologized for the inconvenience and said the emergency construction at the Town Dock parking lot “forces this change.”

Turnout for the concerts have been great so far this year. Some estimated that nearly 1,000 people came to the first performance held the first week in July.

The concerts are free, donations are accepted.
