Two Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crashes into Unmarked Police Car

Two people were rushed to the hospital after a serious motorcycle accident on Route 4 Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened near Exit 7 in the southbound lanes and speed is believed to be a factor, according to the state police.

Two people on the motorcycle reportedly crashed into the rear of an unmarked state police vehicle.

The trooper was unhurt.

Police have not identified the victims or indicated how badly they were hurt.

The accident caused both southbound lanes of Route 4 to be closed for a brief period of time.
