TWO MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS available

The North Kingstown Community Chorus offers two scholarships to area high school seniors who plan to continue their studies in music

The North Kingstown Community Chorus will award a $2,000 scholarship to a college-bound senior who resides in North Kingstown, resides in Jamestown but attends North Kingstown High School or who is in the immediate family of a current Chorus member. North Kingstown students may be attending either public or private schools.

The Janet Berry Scholarship provides a $1,000 scholarship to a qualified senior attending Narragansett or South Kingstown High School or a student who attends Prout School and also resides in Narragansett or South Kingstown.

Applicants for both scholarships must be planning to pursue further education in the many fields of music. The scholarships are competitive. Applications can be obtained from area school guidance offices or by downloading either application form from the Chorus website at www.nkchorus.org. The application deadline is March 15, 2018.
