Volunteers Needed to Serve on North Kingstown Town Boards

The town needs thoughtful residents who want to serve.

Public service is the glue that holds together our country and civilization in general.

And public service doesn’t just refer to the hard work of brave men and women who put out fires and chase after criminals, though their work is valued. It is often the small things -- the neighbor who picks up litter while walking the family dog, for example. Or serving on one of the boards and commissions in North Kingstown that have openings.

In fact, if you want to get a taste of public service, the town really needs you. There are three openings on the North Kingstown Arts Council and one each on the Asset Management Commission, the Economic Development Advisory Board and the Groundwater and Wickford Plan Committees.
