• Accomplishment: Last year, Alex won the Audubon Society's statewide essay contest in his age group with his idea to develop a plan to make North Kingstown more bike friendly. This year, Alex took home a second place in the Richard Dunn Memorial Contest for his photo of the Audubon Society's owl, Big Mama. (Check out his photo above.)
• Key to Awesomeness: Though Alex is a very motivated young boy, it's his keen curiousity that drives him. He's incredibly humble about his accomplishments and has a passion for simply having fun and being a kid.
