Wickford Arts Association Receives Legislative Grant
Sen. James Sheehan presented the organization with $2,500.

From Sen. James Sheehan: Sen. James C. Sheehan (D-Dist. 36, North Kingstown, Narragansett) has presented a $2,500 legislative grant to the Wickford Art Association, a non-profit entity that relies on the community for financial support.
“For more than half a century, the Wickford Art Association has been promoting the arts in North Kingstown and throughout Rhode Island,” said Senator Sheehan. “The Wickford Art Festival is a mainstay that thousands of Rhode Islanders look forward to every year, and I am glad that I could help by securing this grant.”
The Purpose of the Wickford Art Association is to educate, encourage and inspire its membership, the local arts community and the general public and to promote fine arts in the community. The 56th Wickford Art Festival will take place Saturday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
