NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI — A North Providence man was charged with child abuse, police said.
Michael Silva, 38, surrendered to troopers at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and was arrested shortly before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of second-degree child abuse, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Silva was processed, arraigned and released with a court date, according to police.
