Man Pulled From Blackstone River In Woonsocket Identified
The Woonsocket man was reported missing by his family Saturday, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — The man pulled from the Blackstone River in Woonsocket Wednesday has been identified.
The man was identified as Efrain Espinosa, 28.
Espinosa, a Woonsocket resident, was reported missing by his family Saturday but was spotted alive three days after that.

"Although family members last saw him on August 4 at 11:30 p.m., he reportedly fled from them," the Woonsocket Police Department said in a media release.

Espinosa's body was seen floating face down near the South Main Street bridge about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Responding officers "confirmed a body was hung up on brush on the side of the riverbank," police said.
"Fire personnel from Woonsocket and Cumberland assisted with recovering the body from the river and bringing it to a safe location for the medical examiner to take custody," according to a media release.
"At this time, no foul play or suspicious circumstances are suspected in his death," police said.
