6 Guns And Suspected Coke, Meth, Fentanyl Seized In North Providence Search: Cops

NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI — A half dozen guns — as well as suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl — were seized during the search of a North Providence home, police said.

The search warrants were executed at the Charles Street residence of 35-year-old Juarami Batista Friday, the North Providence Police Department said in a media release.

Officers located and seized a Taurus G2 9 mm pistol, a Glock 22, a 40-caliber pistol with a fully automatic conversion, a Glock 17 9 mm pistol, a Taurus Judge revolver, a Derringer 22-caliber revolver, a short-barrel AR-style ghost rifle and six large-capacity magazines, according to the release.

Batista was arrested on an array of gun and drug charges and ordered held without bail.
