MA Man Charged With Obtaining Property By False Pretenses Nabbed: RISP

CRANSTON, RI — A Massachusetts man wanted on charges of obtaining property by false by false pretenses and fraudulent use of credit cards was apprehended, police said.

Christian Lorenzo Irizarry, 43, was arrested shortly before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rhode island State Police said in a media release.

The obtaining property by false by false pretenses charge was in connection with a state police case and the fraudulent use of credit cards was in connection with a Cranston Police Department case, according the release said.

Lorenzo Irizarry, a resident of Holyoke, was pulled over and arrested on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence, according to the release.

Irizarry was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and turned over to the Cranston Police Department, the release said.
