Wanted Pawtucket Man Apprehended

PAWTUCKET, RI — A wanted Pawtucket man was captured, police said.

Idel Gomes, 19, was arrested on a warrant Friday by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

Gomes was wanted on charges of possession of stolen motor vehicle, attempted larceny of more than $5,000 and conspiracy, according to the release.

"Mr. Gomes was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department," the release said.
