Pawtucket Man Subject of RISP Auto Theft Task Force Probe: Cops

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket man investigated by the Rhode Island State Police Auto Theft Task Force was arrested on conspiracy and other charges, police said.

Nathan Quezada, 22, was arrested about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday by the Auto Theft Task Force, as well as the state police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations and Intelligence units, the state police said in a media release.

In addition to conspiracy, Quezada was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, alteration of an identification number, possession of a motor vehicle with an altered Vehicle Identification Number, receiving stolen goods, possession of burglary tools, injuring or tampering with vehicles, and vandalism, the release said.

Quezada was processed at state police headquarters and taken to "Third Division District Court where he was issued $10,000 surety bail and held as a District Court bail violator," the release said.
