Boy Scout Troop 82 of Portsmouth will be in your neighborhood dropping off plastic donation bags to every home this Saturday, October 26th, as part of the Narragansett Council’s 26th annual Scouting for Food Drive.  Please put your donation of non-perishable, nutritious food in the bags and place them on your doorstep Saturday, November 2nd by 9 a.m. when scouts return to collect the bags. Food donations will also be accepted at your local Walgreens store.
The Rhode Island Community Food Bank and local food pantries are the recipients of Rhode Island’s Scouting for Food Drive. Your donations feed more than 66,000 Rhode Islanders.  Thank you for your generosity.Â
