Animal Cruelty, Home Break-In, More: Portsmouth Police Arrest Log
Several drug charges were also found in the Portsmouth police log, including distributing cocaine.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — The following people were arrested by Portsmouth police between Feb. 6 and Feb. 10.
Feb. 6
1:35 p.m. — Hunter William Ferris, 24, of Portsmouth, was charged with domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property, domestic disorderly conduct and unnecessary cruelty to animals.

7:42 p.m. — Neil Hollister Cain, 29, homeless, was charged with domestic breaking and entering. Police said the arrest happened at a home in the 100th block of Water Street.
Feb. 8

12:43 p.m. — Tara Lee Desilveira, 40, of Westport, Massachusetts, was charged with four counts of manufacturing/possessing/delivering schedule I/II drugs. The arrest happened on East Main Road.
12:43 p.m. — Paul Michael Silva, 41, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was charged with manufacturing/selling/possessing with intent to distribute cocaine and two counts of possessing a schedule I to V drug. The arrest happened on East Main Road.
Feb. 10
12:48 a.m. — Andrew Joseph Massey, 33, of Newport, was charged with a bench warrant out of Second District Court.
1:35 a.m. — David Sainplice, 34, of Bristol, was charged with possession of a schedule I to V drug. Police said the arrest happened while assisting a motorist on West Main Road at Freeborn Street.
