Bad NFL Teams Are Good For Something
Some fantasy football tips that you may not think of that may come in handy come draft day.
Are you ready for some football!
Many people when they get into their first fantasy football league or even have a little experience with fantasy football do not always prepare for the big draft. A lot of people go into the draft thinking as a fan, trying to pick players from their favorite teams. Here are some things you might not think about that you might want to.
Good teams rarely have good fantasy football players.

Example: New England Patriots have Tom Brady and maybe the defense. All the other players Chad Ochocinco, Wes Welker, Dieon Branch they are all GREAT players but fantasy football is all about stats and output on that one Sunday. Tom Brady is very inconsistent when it comes to throwing to one particular player all the time. One Sunday Welker may have great numbers but the next it could be Ochocinco or Ron Gronkowski.
I am not saying don’t draft these players if you have the chance but I wouldn’t sweat it if you miss out on them.

Bad teams have great players.
Example: Washington Redskins: running back Tim Hightower is not someone that many people are going to fight you for but he should perform pretty well and score you some points.
Example: Kansas City: Dwayne Bowe is really Matt Cassel’s go to guy you can count on him to catch a few passes and get you some points.
Example: Cleveland Browns: Peyton Hillis Averages 4.5 yards a carry and over 1100 yards last season. Not many people are looking at him because they are going for the Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson type.
****PLEASE DO NOT DRAFT ANY OF THESE PLAYERS IN THE FIRST OR SECOND ROUND OF YOUR DRAFT. These are good end of the draft picks or maybe even after. You would be amazed at some of the good free agent picks you can get.
My suggestion is after you grab some great picks in the 1st and 2nd round in the draft and as players start falling off the board start to look at the sleeper teams. Teams that play one sided football can be great fantasy teams. The sleeper teams are going to either run the ball or target one receiver whereas teams like the Jets, Patriots, Packers, and Steelers all have numerous weapons in their receiving corp and running game.
I can't give away all my secrets just yet cause I still have my draft to do but I may compose a list in the near future of potential draft picks.  Â
