Common Fence Music Presents the Powerful Malcolm Holcombe This Saturday

Malcolm Holcombe performs at Common Fence Music this Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Malcolm Holcombe, a singer-songwriter who hails from North Carolina, is an unusual talent. This raw nerve with an open heart and a howl draws from folk, country, gospel and the blues.

Malcolm's stage presence is not designed to catch the eye. Well...he's not a dog and pony show, that's for certain. He's all about the songs. And they are among the most precious being written by any singer-songwriter practicing on the continent today. If he rocks away on a four legged chair, go with it. Sometimes he's winding up for his next right hand rhythm attack.

Malcolm performs on Saturday night, Oct 29, at 8 p.m. at 933 Anthony Road in Portsmouth for the Common Fence Music "Picnic Series." Indoor picnic that is - the folk-tailgate party. A giant of a  talent, he is back from last year.

This is the private stock - single malt from a sherry oak cask, aged Stilton, finely crafted habanos, the haggis - pungent but true, and crafted with love. Not for the faint of heart, but mostly not to be missed. You can come as you are for this one. Malcolm will! And don't forget your picnic basket. Doors at 7 for the pre-show chowdown. Take a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Tickets are available through ticketweb via the Common Fence Music Web site or by calling 866-468-7619 toll free. Tickets will also be available at the door.
