Ladies Auxiliary of VFW To Hold Benefit Breakfast This Saturday

Ever wonder what a single parent National Guard member or a Military Reserve member do with their children when they are called for active duty and their family pans fall through?

Since 1925, the VFW has operated the VFW National Home for Children in Easton Rapids Michigan where our soldiers children are provided housing, support and care. While there children are surrounded by a supportive community and they receive whatever help they may need until reunited with their parent. They can participate in many activities and classes in a safe, loving enviornment.

On Saturday, May 5, the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Portsmouth will be holding a breakfast buffet at located at 822 Anthony Rd. Portsmouth, R.I. Starts at 8:30 a.m. and they will serve until 10:30 a.m.

All proceeds will go to benefit VFW National Home for Children. Please come out and do your part in helping care for our military children while their parents protect us!
