Jams, Jellies and Pickles

Jams, Jellies and Pickles - Great ways to preserve the taste of summer.

Hopefully, you have already picked fresh, delicious strawberries at Quonset View Farm. Perhaps you visited Sweet Berry Farm or purchased already-picked berries at DeCastro's, Mello's or Clement's. Maybe you found berries at Aquidneck, Mount Hope or Sandywoods Farmers Market.

Don't forget to pick up some extra berries for making jam. Making jam and jelly is easy and a great way to share the great taste of summer with family and friends.

Before long we'll be able to enjoy fresh, local peaches, blueberries and raspberries, also great for jams. Cucumbers, cauliflower and beans make delicious pickles.
