New: Transition to Kindergarten Program (T2K) at Countryside Children's Center
Nervous about your child's upcoming Kindergarten year? Is your child ineligible for kindergarten because of a fall birthday? Countryside has your solution!
Are you feeling anxious about your child's kindergarten readiness or has your child missed the kindergarten birthday cut-off date? We have the solution for you!
Countryside Children's Center is now offering a new program called t2k (transition to kindergarten). This program offers the gift of time for your child to acquire kindergarten readiness skills that promote life-long learning. Reduce your child's stress by enrolling him/her in a program that offers smaller group settings and a more playful environment.
At Countryside, the t2k children will be the oldest students and act as role models fostering confidence and motivating their leadership skills. Our halls are not filled with loud bells and larger children that may hinder your child's ability to really focus on learning. We are about children and know that it is beneficial for children to take responsibility for their own learning.

A curriculum has been designed specifically for this new program that connects the Rhode Island Common Core State Standards (RICCSS) to the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards (RIELS) to produce a learning opportunity that bridges the pre-k and kindergarten years. With extensive hands-on activities and innovative teaching techniques, your child will take learning into his/her own hands and develop those skills necessary for the upcoming kindergarten year.Â
