PMS Softball Team Ends a Great Season!

's softball season came to an end yesterday in a loss to Lincoln Middle School, 14-9, in the quarter-finals. 

The back and forth battle raged for eight innings. Taylor Cofield's bat came alive as she added two triples. Ailish Cafferty hit a triple to tie the game up in the bottom of the 7th, sending the game into extra innings. 

April Younkin ran the bases well for Portsmouth, and Lauren Campbell also played well.  Portsmouth ended its regular season with a 12-2 record, claiming the Eastern Division Championship.
