Portsmouth 375th Anniversary Committee Needs Your Help

The Portsmouth 375^th Anniversary Steering Committee needs your help to create a short slogan (less than six words) that will be used, along with a 375th commemorative logo currently being developed, on documents and memorabilia all next year as we prepare to celebrate the 375^th anniversary of the founding of Portsmouth in 1638. The slogan should evoke the character and spirit of Portsmouth’s past, present and future. As an example, one suggestion has been “Proud Heritage – Bright Future.”

Your suggestions for slogans should be sent by email to info@portsmouthri375.com . The winning slogan will be selected by the Steering Committee at its next meeting on 5 September, so you only have one week to submit your proposals. Suggestions sent after 5 September will not be considered. The winner will be publicly recognized by the 375^th  Steering Committee, so think positive thoughts and tell us what you think captures Portsmouth’s character best in six words or less.
