'Portsmouth this Week' Session Discusses Pending EBEC Resolution
East Bay Energy Consortium (EBEC) discussed on "Portsmouth this Week"
The latest session of Town Administrator John Klimm's weekly television show, taped last Friday, featured a discussion of the East Bay Energy Consortium (EBEC) legislation that the Town of Portsmouth has been asked to support. Five out of eight participating East Bay municipalities have already passed such resolutions. A resolution to do so is on the Town Council agenda on Wednesday evening. EBEC is essentially asking for town support to continue to move forward with their legislative package in the RI General Assembly. Assistant Town Planner Gary Crosby joined John Klimm to discuss the EBEC proposal on the latest edition of this public communications series. Watch it and learn more about this sustainable energy initiative that has a potential to bring in upwards of $200,000 per year to Portsmouth in revenues with virtually no financial risk to the town. The show will air on NCTV-18 in its regularly scheduled time of Wednesday at 7:30 PM, but can be viewed anytime on Youtube at http://youtu.be/uU-GfaUNGL or via links from the Town or PEDC websites.
