Portsmouth's Varsity Soccer Players Receive Awards, Honors
Members of the PHS Boys Soccer team were recently honored at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick by the RISCA for All Division Awards.
Five members of the boys' soccer team were recognized for their achievements on the field and at school by the Rhode Island Soccer Coaches Association, whose mission is to promote athletic excellence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the development of young student-athletes.
Attending the banquet with their coaches, the following boys were given awards:
- received All Academic, and All Division, 3rd Team Selection.
- was selected to All Division, 2nd Team.
- was selected to All Division, 1st Team.
- was selected to All Division, 2nd Team.
- was selected to All Division, 1st Team
Portsmouth was also given the Sportsmanship Award, which has been awarded them numerous times.

The boys are coached by Mike Stinton, head coach, assisted by Scott Sullivan, and Jeff McGuirl.
