Preparing for Storm Nemo

If you want follow what is going on in Portsmouth during this major storm, go to the Portsmouth Emergency Management Website at www.portsmouthemergency.com and follow them on Facebook and Twitter. We will have an internet communications team on watch starting at 1 PM today in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) that scans social media sites and acts as an interface between the public and the
EMA FD and PD responders. You can use Facebook and Twitter to both monitor and
provide information to the EOC. Follow the links to these two feeds from the
EMA website. Full disclosure: I have the 0600-1200 Internet Communications
watch in the EOC tomorrow morning (assuming that I can get there!)
