Please join us on Monday, 26 May 2025 @ 11 AM for a traditional Memorial Day Ceremony with guest speaker CDR Rick Norton, USN (Ret.) at the VFW Hall (822 Anthony Rd., Portsmouth, RI).  The ceremony will start indoors and then transition outdoors for the raising of the flag by Boy Scout Troop One.  Attendees are invited to stay for refreshments provided by VFW Auxiliary Unit 5390.  Let us honor and remember those who gave the last full measure of devotion.

of an Evening fundraiser and auction, taking place on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Green Valley Country Club. This much-anticipated event brings together our school community to raise funds that enhance educational opportunities for Melville students. In past years, funds raised through Whale of an Evening have supported classroom resources, field trips, enrichment programs, and our Outdoor Learning Zone.

The St. Barnabas 51st&nbsp;Festival Kickoff Dinner Dance will be held in the Parish Hall on May 2nd and will include a delicious BBQ dinner from South County Barbecue and then dancing to the sounds of Country Wild Heart after dinner. The dinner buffet will include pulled pork shoulder, pulled chicken breast, mac &amp; cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, honey corn bread and banana pudding.
 It will be a wonderful night for the entire family. Gather your crew and join us. The cost of the entire evening, dinner and music, is $35 for adults and $20 for children up to age 12, kids under 5 are free.

Historical Trolley Tour of Portsmouth: May 3, 2026 - REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Experience Portsmouth’s rich history from the comfort of a guided trolley tour on SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2026, 1PM - 3PM.&nbsp;
The trolley tour will begin and end at Greenvale Vineyards and will include stops at Prescott Farms, Founders Brook, and Greenvale Vineyards.
At the conclusion of the tour, guests will enjoy a brief talk from the vineyard owner, sharing the history and legacy of this scenic property.&nbsp;
