Education Commissioner Deborah Gist to Visit Portsmouth

Education Commissioner Deborah A. Gist will visit Portsmouth next Tuesday, May 31.

Gist will begin her visit at the in the afternoon, followed by a forum with local teachers. 

A public forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Portsmouth Middle School's Little Theater. Members of the public are welcome to attend this event and ask the commissioner questions.

"I encourage all of you to attend and to share this information with other members of the Portsmouth community," said Superintendent of Schools Susan Lusi in an e-mail distributed Monday. "This is an important opportunity to speak directly with our education commissioner."
