Celebrate Ireland at Portsmouth Free Public Library

Visit Portsmouth Free Public Library for “Celebrating
Ireland”, an all Irish program that embraces Irish history and culture in song and dance.

Fiddler, vocalist, harpist and leprechaun, Mary King, weaves a spell with her love of music and Ireland.  Phil
Edmonds, a native of Killaloe, Country Claire, Ireland, will be playing his tin whistle and button accordion with warmth and spirit.  Dublin-bred Hughie Purcell plays acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo, and sings Irish songs with great emotion and merriment.

The trio brings Ireland to us all with their charisma and music.  The Celtic soul is alive and well in the songs
you will hear, and your ears and eyes will smile.
