The Pennfield School community will join together to joyfully celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The festivities start from 9-10am with FUNDAFest!, a performance by Rhode Island Black Storytellers.
Immediately following, from 10-11 am, Paul Bueno de Mesquita, Director of the Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies at The University of Rhode Island, will start a conversation with parents and other interested adults about nonviolence and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s legacy.
