Coastal Cup High School Hockey Tournament

The annual Coastal Cup hockey tournament has been contested for the last 10 years.  The event is a single-elimination competition played among Portsmouth, Rogers, Middletown, and Mt. Hope High Schools.  The Portsmouth Patriots hockey team has won every Coastal Cup competition since the inception of the tournament. 

The tournament consists of two events; a qualifying round, to be played on Monday, December 16, and a championship playoff and consolation game scheduled for Monday, January 2..  All games will be played at the Portsmouth Abbey Hockey Rink.  Admission is just $5.00 at the door.  Qualification Round games on Monday feature Middletown vs. Mt. Hope at 6:00 PM followed by Portsmouth vs. Rogers at 7:30 PM.  Team pairings on January 2 to be determined after preliminary games.
