FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASS Unwind! Let Go! Release! Yin Restorative Yoga with Barbara Gee

The Taoist concept of Yin and Yang illustrates how opposites work together, in harmony. Yin and Yang are never separate. They are always together in some form. A full yoga practice includes both Yin and Yang yoga. Yang yoga places more emphasis on muscle movement, while Yin yoga focuses on the deep release of connective tissue. To deeply release we need time! We need to give our bodies "permission" to let go.  Not always easy to do! Some Yin poses can be held for up to 5 minutes. But fear not! You will be fully supported with cushions, blankets or bolsters, as needed. Yin Restorative is a fusion of Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga that nurtures total release and relaxation. To properly complement our Yang practice we need to include a Yin practice.

Come and find our how Yin Restorativecan take your Yang practice ever deeper.
