Household Hazardous Waste Collection: Appointments Recommended

Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (RIRRC) will collect household hazardous waste (HHW) at Portsmouth High School.   Appointments for the free Eco-Depot program are available between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Any household products that contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable, or reactive ingredients are considered HHW and cannot be mixed with regular trash.  When not disposed properly, HHW can be dangerous to humans and animals, and can pollute the environment.  

     
To avoid waiting in line, appointments are necessary to drop off HHW.  This collection is for Rhode Island residents only.
