PORTSMOUTH ARTS GUILD’S SUMMER 2012 VISUAL AND THEATER ARTS CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS FOR YOUTH
This August, the Portsmouth Arts Guild will be running its first ever visual and theatre arts programming for young children and youth. The Guild is able to offer these camps to the community free of charge through a generous grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA).

Visual Arts Camp:
August 6 – 10:

9:30 – 11:30 AM, Ages: 3-6 years, "Primary Colors"
1 – 3:30 PM, Ages: 12-15, “Rollage: Rolled Paper Collages”
Visual Arts Workshop:
Saturday, August 11:
10 AM – 4PM, Ages: 13-17, “Blue Prints: Cyanotype Workshop”
Theater Arts Camp:
August 13-17:
9:30 – 11:30, Ages 8-10, “On Stage for Beginners”
2 – 4PM, Ages: 12-14, “Theater 101”
Improv/Playwriting Workshop:
Saturday, August 18:
9AM – 1PM, Ages 15-17
Registration for these activities will be held at the Portsmouth Arts Guild on Friday, June 15, from 5-7PM and Saturday, June 16, from 9-11AM. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Please bring your child’s birth certificate with you to registration to verify age.
