Falmouth Wind Turbine Ecofascism

The Town of Falmouth is guilty of wind turbine ecofascism.

Since the illegal installations of two commercial wind turbines starting in 2010 the town claims its OK to torture up to 200 residential home owners to “protect the environment.”

Ecofascism is a totalitarian government that requires individuals to sacrifice their interests to the well-being and glory of the majority. Its only intention is to fleece you out of your health, hard earned money and property why all the while telling you it is good for you.

The town is spending up to $300,000.00 every six months on eleven litigation cases over the wind turbines.

The wind turbine scandals’ cost to the public purse is untold; the cost to health and public confidence in government leadership incalculable.

The Falmouth Board of Health has made the choice to ignore the thousands of noise complaints leading to a lack of sleep and health problems from the Vestas wind turbines that produce up to 110 decibels of noise

The Massachusetts Democratic Party platform calls for an all out actual war on fossil fuels. John Kerry is the U.S. Secretary of State and a former United States senator from Massachusetts he has stated that climate change is more important than ISIS or any terrorists acts against the US.

Massachusetts citizens in twenty one communities are suffering what is described as torture from lack of sleep living near these turbines.

Up to 200 residential home owners in Falmouth are the collateral damage on the war on fossil fuels. The terrorist are today the elected officials you voted for taking your health and property rights for the so called good of the majority.

The Town of Falmouth had been warned well in advance of 2010 the dangers of installing commercial wind turbines in residential locations. The town hid and continues to hide the 2010 Vestas noise warning letter.

Town Meeting Members and voters need to ask why the town in 2016 has still not made documents available to the public.

In 2013 Falmouth voters were asked to take down the wind turbines while the town continued to hide wind turbine warning letters, memos, maps and documents.

The Chairperson of the Falmouth Energy Committee appointed by the Falmouth Select Board prior to the 2013 vote to take down the turbines wrote a letter and signed it as Chairperson of the Falmouth Energy Committee asking Environmental Affairs Secretary Richard Sullivan to deny state funding to take down the turbines despite any vote.

In 2013 all nine Falmouth precincts voted against turbine removal, by an overall landslide margin of 2-1.

The voters never had all the facts because town officials hid any and all negative information from the public in order to achieve the Massachusetts state wind turbine renewable energy goal of 2000 megawatts of renewable wind turbine power.

At the end of World War II they asked the residents who lived around the German prison camps why they did nothing to stop it ? The answer was they didn't know. The next question was didn't you notice 6 million of your neighbors are missing ? Germany had a Fascist government as does Falmouth today.

Today in Falmouth we know through FOIA, Freedom of Information Act, requests many of the warning letters, memos, maps and documents have been released.

The town still refuses to post or make the information public on its website.

Falmouth Town Meeting Members and voters are today faced with the same questions asked of the population around the German prison camps after World War II:

Why have you done nothing to stop it ?

Have you noticed the thousands of noise complaints described as torture from lack of sleep ?

Have you noticed eleven lawsuits and up to $300,000.00 every six months being spent on attorneys ?

Falmouth has a political system headed by a Select Board in which the government controls by omission what information the public gets to look at and opposition is not permitted.

Ecofascism: no matter what it cost in human health, property rights and your tax dollars the goal is to keep those wind turbines spinning.

“The Town has previously been provided with the Octave Band Data / Sound performance for the V82 turbine. This shows that the turbine normally operates at 103.2dB but the manufacturer has also stated that it may produce up to 110dB under certain circumstances.”
