Hathaway Elementary School Celebrates the Stars and Stripes [Video]

In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14 to pay tribute to "Old Glory." On Tuesday, students celebrated the flag with their own ceremony in front of the school.

The ceremony featured students reading poems dedicated to the American flag, including the poem, "The Flag," by Shel Silverstein.

The students also sang patriotic songs, including "America, the Beautiful." Students Evin St. Laurent and MacCauley Dunn sang the national anthem.
