Haunted Rhode Island with the RISEUP Paranormal Society on Wednesday, 10/29

Join the RISEUP (The Rhode Island Society for the Examination of Unusual Phenomena) Paranormal Society for an evening of history and ghost hauntings at the Middletown Public Library. The public is invited for this spine-tingling event. Rhode Island’s beaches and shorelines attract millions of visitors each year, yet there is another side of Rhode Island that many dismiss as folly and others speak of in hushed tones. Rhode Island is one of the most haunted place on Earth. Tiverton-based RISEUP Paranormal has witnessed and documented many cases in the Ocean State that make one wonder, “What is going on here?”

The RISEUP Paranormal Society is a volunteer organization, based in Tiverton, RI that specializes in the investigation of paranormal claims within the realms of hauntings, UFO experiences, and cryptozoology. Ultimately, their goal is to conduct unbiased data gathering through research, documentation, and on-site observation to better help understand the true nature of the alleged phenomena by using a variety of recording instruments, thorough historical research, and common sense.
