Join us for the 2nd installment of our new spoken word and music series - LISTEN - with a performance by local Americana folk band Red Eye Flight in Mabel’s Studio at the Norman Bird Sanctuary, 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 12th. Formed in 2005, Red Eye Flight‘s music is founded on strong vocal harmonies, incorporating electric and acoustic instrumentation to create soundscapes that are evocative of this country, from western highways to the open ocean. Playing both originals and covers, the April 12 show will feature Kelly Cleveland, Derek Escher, Tim Murphy, and Ken E. Taylor, and showcase acoustic versions of songs that appear on their forthcoming album Reposado, due out in May.
Refreshments will be provided. Sign up soon as space is limited!
A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to the Norman Bird Sanctuary, supporting our mission to preserve and protect our habitats and resources for the benefit of birds and other wildlife and for people’s education and enjoyment.
Tickets: $15 members, $20 non-members
