The “MY PORTSMOUTH” PHS STUDENT PHOTO SHOW Opens Tuesday Nov 19, 4-5 pm at the Portsmouth Free Public Library and 5-7 pm at the Portsmouth Publick House (formerly Custom House Coffee).
Portsmouth High School Photo students are showing their photography based on the theme "My Portsmouth." The shows feature images from AP Photo Students Megan Elwell, McKay Eyster, Katie Giguere, Anne Heffernan, Kristen Kemper, Josh Ladd, Alyssa Lewis, Abby Medeiros, Justin Neves, James Reynolds, Alexis Stone, Isabella Tomlinson, Kayla Sullivan and Connor Wray. This photography work is based on a recent field trip "Portsmouth Then and Now" guided by local historians Gloria & Rich Schmidt.
In addition, other PHS Photo students are showing images focusing on our town. The works will be showing at the Portsmouth Public House and the Portsmouth Free Public Library through December.

Also opening for our photo show at the Publick House, playing for the Tue Nov 19 opening from 5-7pm is a new student band called "Reverse Situation" along with kids from PHS Jazz Combo.Members are PHS Sr. Jalen Perry on guitar & vocals, Jr. Sam Boswell on Bass and Colin Davis college freshman studying in New Haven. This music style is jazz rock fusion and alternative rock. In addition members of the Jazz combo will be playing, Mark Tenenbaum on Sax, Jack Grzecnowaik on piano and Max McGaw on sax.
