New England Challenge Comes to Polo Grounds This Weekend

The match will begin at 4 p.m. at Glen Farm.

The Newport International Polo Series will feature the semifinal round of the New England Challenge, a heated contest between Newport and regional rivals in a season-long tournament for a berth in the Finals this Saturday.

The match takes place at 4 p.m. at the polo grounds of Glen Farm.

Dating back more than 130 years, the polo matches are a unique and popular Newport summertime tradition enjoyed by the public.  A weekly door prize drawing will take place during the match and a trophy presentation will follow the two hour match.
