Pennfield School Celebrates May with Day at the Fair
The rain held off on Sunday for the annual Pennfield May Fair, which was held on the school grounds this weekend.
Skies may have been gray, but smiles were bright Sunday during the annual .
May Fair weekend, which includes a silent auction and gala, is the largest fundraiser held throughout the year for the school. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Association (PSA) and are used for funding for everything from technology to faculty, teacher appreciation and student development.
Sunday's fair offered games, face painting, tie-dying, a rock wall for climbing, music, baked goods, a plant sale and more.

Head of School Rob Kelly enjoys the fact that "this is not just a Pennfield event; it is a community event, and many of today's fairgoers are not Pennfield students or families, but members of the community out enjoying themselves for the day."
Matt Cuilianna of Providence, travelled down for the day with his family and "all are having fun," he said.

He is impressed with the event saying, "This is a big event for a small school."
