[PHOTOS]: Portsmouth Lifeguards Compete at Eastons Beach

Lifeguards from New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts participated in the 20 events, which included swimming, rowing, paddling and running.

Narragansett Beach lifeguards came in first place on Wednesday after competing in the 34th annual Newport Invitational Lifeguard Tournament at  Lifeguards from New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts participated in the 20 events, which included swimming, rowing, paddling and running.

1st place Narraganset, Rhode Island 490 2nd place RIIS Park, New York   
395 3rd place Long Beach, New York 370
